The Chinchilla Botanic Parkland water play area will remain closed for a little longer due to unforeseen circumstances.
Council staff are working to get the maintenance of the water play area completed as quickly as possible, and a revised reopening date will be communicated once known.
Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the community for its patience while we undertake these important maintenance works.
Council wishes to advise that the Chinchilla Botanic Parklands splash park and surrounding areas will be closed to the public for maintenance from the 23 of September to the 21 of October.
Due to contractor availability this was the only available timeframe, this does mean this maintenance will occur in the second week of the upcoming September school holidays.
