Splash into Spring at the Western Downs Pools Parties

Western Downs Regional Council and LSA have partnered up to provide residents with a fun way to cool down with popular Regional Pool Parties returning this spring.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to dive into the excitement of spring with this year's pool parties, where monster inflatables wait for a day packed with fun in the sun!

Western Downs Regional Council Spokesperson for Community and Cultural Development Peter Saxelby said he was excited to see the highly anticipated return of these beloved events making a splash at our local pools again this spring.

“We always hear such fantastic feedback, especially from our youth, about how much they love these events," Cr Saxelby said

"Our pool parties are not just about having fun, but a wonderful chance to come together and soak up the vibrant community spirit that makes our area so special.

“Earlier this year, in February and March, hundreds of locals joined our pool parties.

"It’s amazing that we can host even more of these events to celebrate the spring season.

"Entry to the pool parties is just $3 per person, with delicious food and drinks available for purchase. Plus, our dedicated lifeguards will be on duty to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable day.
