Make a Splash this Summer at the Western Downs pool parties

Grab your buddies, your favourite beach towel, and get ready to beat the summer heat at the Western Downs Regional Council pool parties!
Western Downs Regional Council and Lifesaving Services Australia (LSA) have partnered up to provide residents with a fun way to cool down with the return of the monster inflatable pool parties throughout the region in February 2025.
Residents and visitors are invited to plunge into summer excitement at this year's pool parties, featuring monster inflatables for a day full of sun-soaked fun!
Western Downs Regional Council Spokesperson for Community and Cultural Development Peter Saxelby said he was excited to see the eagerly awaited return of these beloved events for 2025.
“We consistently receive wonderful feedback, particularly from our youth, about how much they enjoy these events" Cr Saxelby said.
“Late last year, in November, hundreds of locals joined our pool parties and the 2025 program kicks off in Jandowae with pool parties in Moonie, Wandoan and Meandarra.
"It’s amazing that we can host even more of these events with the help of the team at LSA to celebrate the summer season.
"Entry to the pool parties is just $2 per person, with delicious food and drinks available for purchase. Plus, our dedicated lifeguards will be on duty to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable day.
"Don’t miss out on the fun!"
