Western Downs Regional Council and SwimFit have partnered to give residents a fun way to cool down, with the popular Regional Pool Parties returning this spring

Residents and visitors to the region are invited to dive in at this spring season's pool parties by taking on the monster inflatables in a day of fun in the sun.

Spokesperson for Community and Cultural Development, Councillor Kaye Maguire said she was excited to see these popular events return to local pool facilities

"We always get the most wonderful feedback from people telling us how much they enjoy them, particularly our youngsters. Not only are these pool parties a lot of fun, but they are also a great opportunity for residents to come together and participate in the fun and vibrancy that is a hallmark of our communities" said Cr Maguire

“Hundreds of locals headed along to our pool parties in February and March this year. It’s wonderful that we are able to host more of these events to see in the spring season, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it.

Entry to the regional pool parties is only $3 per person, with food and drinks available for purchase. Lifeguards will also be on duty to ensure all attendees enjoy a safe and fun day.
