Councillor Sam Condon is a first-term Councillor with an extensive and diverse agribusiness background having previously owned a rural contracting business and agricultural aviation services company. Cr Condon is passionate about investment attraction and enhancing the liveability of the entire Western Downs region through the provision of first-class essential services and utilities.
A passionate born and bred Dalby local, Cr Condon was raised on a mixed grazing and cropping farm at Dandine. After attending boarding school in Brisbane, he studied at Gatton Agricultural College and later travelled extensively throughout the USA corn belt to observe agricultural best practice outside of Australia.
Building strong regional communities is a priority for Cr Condon, whose family proudly owned and managed an extensive cropping property at Pirrinuan for 98 years. His hobbies including fishing, the odd hit of golf, supporting all codes of local football and enjoying the extracurricular activities of his four children.
