How to apply for Council Grants

All applications for grants under the Community Grants Program must be lodged utilising Council's online grants platform, Smarty Grants.

We encourage you to make contact with the Grants team prior to making a submission.

If you do not have a computer or access to the internet, please visit one of the Western Downs Libraries to use a computer or to access free internet. If you require assistance with setting up your online application, our friendly Library staff are happy to help.

When do grant applications open?

The timeline varies depending on the grant you are interested in.

Responsive Rounds - $5,000 and under

Competitive Rounds - Over $5,000

Please be advised that the Competitive Round 3 will not be opening this financial year.
