Community Christmas Celebrations

Every year, the Western Downs region comes alive with an array of Christmas celebrations hosted by our local community organisations.

Funding through the Community Events Program goes towards supporting these groups to present the community with a variety of exciting activities including:

• Showcasing local business and the importance of shopping locally
• Celebrating and promoting local entertainment
• Entertaining attendees through parades, light shows and fireworks
• Providing opportunities for locals to market their merchandise

These events are organised and delivered by hardworking volunteer committees who collaborate with other local community groups to ensure their community is always treated to a spectacular event.

We acknowledge the community connectedness that is fostered by these annual events, which are an affordable and accessible way for families to celebrate the festive season.
