Christmas Where the Gumtrees Grows is a community initiative that encourages the region's rural residents to embrace the holiday season and show off their Christmas spirit — with a uniquely country twist.
Residents who lived rurally were encouraged to decorate their property entrance with festive flair to go into the running to win great prizes. Whether it was a garnished gate, embellished equipment, or bedazzled mailbox, they joined in on the festivities, jingled all the highway, and helped celebrate Christmas where the gumtrees grow.
