Ag Jobs Fair 2024

Following the success of the 2021, 2022 and 2023 events, Western Downs Regional Council is once again partnering with Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise, and AgForce, to host the 2024 Ag Jobs Fair (previously Protein Jobs Fair) to connect job seekers with potential employers within the Intensive Agriculture and Agriculture Service Industries.

This growing sector offers a diverse range of careers, including production, management, animal science, food processing, sales, marketing, and research, all of which will be represented at the Ag Jobs Fair. 

Public Session

Come along to the public session from 1.30pm to gain first-hand knowledge from agriculture industry representatives, be connected to local businesses to discuss opportunities within the region and demonstrate pathways for job seekers and have the unique opportunity to network with potential employers.

Stallholders 

If you are a local agricultural business, you're invited to register as a stallholder for the event where you'll attend as an industry representative and have the opportunity to advertise your current job vacancies.

Ambassadors

If you are registered as a stallholder, you are also able to apply to be an ambassador at the event. Ambassadors are asked to present a 5-minute presentation including:

• a day in their professional life, 
• their career pathway,
• the endless opportunities in their industry, and
• able to directly engage with students and job seekers.
